Nazareth Hospital is situated in Riara Ridge, Limuru Division of Kiambu West District (about 25Km from Nairobi city), is a Mission and non-profit making hospital under the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi. It was started back in 1964 as a Dispensary to meet the health needs of the rural people working in the neighbouring tea and coffee plantations. This was an initiative by Consolata Sisters who managed this Hospital up to the year 1999, before handing it over to the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (FIHM) to continue with the healing ministry. Due to it’s constant upgrading of services to under privileged, Nazareth is highly respected for it’s work in medical mission and is a key part of the Kenya Health care services. It is famous for it’s Urology services, Maternity services and HIV/AIDS care among others.. We appreciate all our benefactors.
