The Banda School is a privately-owned multinational British preparatory school situated along Magadi Road in Langata, opposite the Nairobi National Park. This co-educational day/boarding institution dates its origin to 1956 where it began as Kaptagat Preparatory School – named after an urban centre near Eldoret. It officially opened as Banda School in 1966 and has grown to be among the best international schools in Kenya. The school offers the British learning system, a curriculum that identifies with various other international schools in Kenya. With a conducive environment for learning, Banda School provides excellent academics with a full choice of extracurricular opportunities. Their syllabus is in line with the National Curricula of England with the Common Entrance Exam. It also has a weekly boarding option.
